Who we are

St Albans Pentecostal Church has been serving people in the city of St Albans and the surrounding towns since 1960 by Pastor Thomas who retired in 2021 after 60 years of faithful ministry. Generations of people in St Albans have attended the church. Pastor Thomas has led many people to accept Jesus. The church building was purchased in 1999. This is a remarkable achievement as properties are very expensive in the affluent city of St Albans. Our church is well established and involved in the community.

Pastor Maurice Franks was appointed Senior Pastor of the church in 2021 after visiting the church in 2020 just prior to the Covid crisis. He is assisted by his lovely wife Ann who is the Co-Pastor. They bring over 35 years of experience of ministry gained in America, Germany, Portugal and many churches in England. This is their 4th time Pastoring which includes 12 years as founders and Pastor of Luton Grace Fellowship in Luton England. They are assisted by a team of outstanding ministers.

Our church is a place where you will find friendly people as you grow your relationship with God. We are a multicultural church where everyone is valued. Our Sunday services are vibrant and exciting. The preaching applies biblical teaching to everyday life.

Our building has plenty of free parking in the church parking lot and on street in front of the building. The train station is within walking distance and the local bus stops in front of the church. However you come you will be glad you did!
